Introduction

Tony Hawk was the surprise star of issue 62, as the team reviewed his second game on N64 - which was the final game to be reviewed on N64, and gained 90%. Tony Hawk’s 3 was also reviewed on Gamecube, and the team compared the quality (and indeed soundtracks) of the two versions. Within Planet Game Boy, both Wario Land 4 and Doom got 5 star reviews, plus another 12 games were reviewed ready for Christmas

Also previewed in this issue was the sequel to Rogue Squadron - Rogue Leader, with the team getting a good look at the new game, and revealing some of the early levels of the game. Other previews of note were  Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, the ill fated Galleon, and Dark Summit.

At the back, they had brief tips for  Pokemon Stadium 2, tore apart a controller in Gamecube lab, asked readers which movies they would like making into games and looked at the making of Pilotwings 64. They also had the third edition of Cartwarming Christmas Tales.
