Introduction

Issue 6 was a special focussing on the best games to come in 2007, with 30 pages dedicated to new games. They had mini previews of every game, such as Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Super Paper Mario and Smash Bros Brawl - with over 60 Wii games in total. They also covered DS games such as Phantom Hourglass and Diddy Kong Racing. They also covered Elebits and No More Heroes. There was also news about the first Wii remote incidents, with reports of broken TVs and smashed windows.

The big review this month was Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, scoring a respectable 83%, Matthew praising the use of the Wii Remote. Matthew also looked at the US version of Trauma Centre, scoring 84%. Starfox Command on DS scored 85%, whilst as usual there were a large number of mini reviews both on Wii and DS.

World of Nintendo was inundated with new things that people had put together for their brand new consoles, including some impressive decals and some hysterical pictures of what not to do with your Wii console.They had a map of Twilight Princess, showing some of the more interesting locations as well as some interesting tips and sights to find in several of the Wii launch games.

Download also looked at some tips for the launch games, but this time on Virtual Console. They also previewed the next few releases on Virtual Console - including Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 64 and Super Metroid, and detailed the history of Kid Icarus, with his re-appearance due in Smash Bros: Brawl. They also looked at some of the classic music from some of the best games that the team hoped that would be on Virtual Console.
