Introduction

Pokemon was once again the game on the cover of issue 55, with Stadium Gold & Silver featured. The updated USA version was reviewed inside, scoring 90%, with Geraint praising everything new about the game, although the core formula hadn’t really changed since the first game which was originally released in Japan nearly three years prior. Long previewed games Indiana Jones and Aidyn Chronicles were both finally reviewed in this issue, scoring 81% and 60% respectively, although Indiana Jones never actually was properly released in the UK. 

Once again previews werte thin on the ground, with some of the final batch of N64 games featured, such as Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 and Animal Forest. They also speculated what might be featured on Gamecube at E3, including all the features, the games and the potential integrations with the GBA and even online play.

Planet Game boy looked at the Japanese launch titles for the GBA, now that they had time to play the games. Picke of the bunch were F-Zero Advance, Kuru Kuru Kururin, Chu Chu Rocket! And Advance GTA, which were all scored at five stars, and there were a number of other four star games such as Castlevania, and Mario Advance. Alone in the Dark was also scored at five stars on the Game Boy Colour, with the game looking almost like an Advance title.

The only guide this month was the second part of Conker’s BFD, as they covered the second half of the game, covering all the steps needed to bear the final boss and finish the game.
