Introduction

The pre-christmas issue of N64 magazine came emblazoned with the latest Turok game on the cover as Rage Wars got a review. Turok was the star game in this issue's reviews, gaining 87%. Rainbow Six also gained the same score, whilst the US version of Winback also gathered a respectable 83%.

The team also got their hands on the latest information for Perfect Dark and an almost complete Resident Evil 2. As always there were plenty of smaller previews alongside a final Special Investigation into Donkey Kong 64 ahead of it’s Christmas release.

There was also a quick guide into Pokemon - for those that didn’t know already. It covered the games on both N64 and Game Boy, several bytes of information from Japan, plus a look at some of the merchandise (or tat!) currently available.

Fresh from the previous issue’s reviews the first half of Jet Force Gemini was given a full going over, with the team also looking at the basics of playing Mario Golf.

At the back of the mag, the team came up with fake news headlines, titled “World of Nintendo” - they hilariously dissected some of the important moments from the last three years of N64 games
